Along with O’Neil Walters, noted video director from Sretlaw Media, Mr. Vegas is now on a campaign to sell it to the world. According to Walters: “The marketing for the series has been stepped up on social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & YouTube. We are now featuring behind the scenes photos & videos from the pilot show. These posts have already created instant excitement and interest from Jamaicans, dancehall lovers and Mr. Vegas fans from around the world”.
Mr. Vegas is excited that this idea is well on its way to becoming a reality: “The pilot, screened at NATPE Miami 2014, got rave reviews from Digital distributors who were impressed by the quality of the production as well as the dynamic cultural experience and global integration the show could deliver”.
After meetings with key stakeholders in NATPE including Dr. Partha Nandi, the Emmy award winning host of the ‘Ask Dr. Nandi’, and representatives from Global Agency, one of the largest digital distribution agencies in Asia, Europe and South America, key partnerships are being initiated in an effort bring the series to millions of viewers from around the world.
Now, the search is on to find 20 girls from Jamaica and around the world in an effort to find the first Bruk It Down Reality Queen. Girls can submit their audition videos to the ‘Bruk It Down to Reality’ voting app on Facebook where videos will be vetted by judges before online fans get the opportunity to decide part of the series.
