“A lot of people are surprised because they’ve never heard a white girl deejaying on a hardcore Dancehall track like this before.
A lot of people have told me that they still can’t believe that it’s a white girl going so hard on the track. It’s something that has never been done before, history in the making” said Orisha. Since returning to the island over a month ago Orisha Sound has been very busy performing on a number of events.
She recently delivered a full set when she appeared alongside the Jolly Boys at Clippers in Port Antonio. She also performed on the opening night of the Kingston on the Edge Caribbean Arts Festival at Red Bones Café.
