Spice Rocks France!

Couch Mode
After an extremely phenomenal 2014, Spice has continued to make musical waves across the globe – this time in France. The artiste, who has earned the moniker, ‘Stage Show Boss’, rang in the new year in Paris with thousands of excited French nationals.

The renowned City of Love and Lights embraced the dancehall artiste on New Year’s Eve at the event, Le Réveillon de Rêve 6. The event, which was a part of Spice’s French tour, was sold out and Spice says she couldn’t be happier.
My year is already off to a great start. It was an overwhelming feeling to hear over 2,000 French people singing my songs word-for-word, especially because they speak a different language. It made the entire event even more special for me. I’ve also been teaching the French girls some of the Jamaican moves and how to wine. You guys can follow me on Instagram @SpiceOfficial to see the videos. I’m now trying to learn French because my fan base has grown tremendously, and I want to be able to communicate with them, whether in person or on social media,” says Spice, whose correct name is Grace Hamilton.
Spice, who also returned from a tour in England recently, said some of her favourite 2014 moments were: starring in the hit Jamaican movie, Destiny, directed by Jeremy Whittaker; unveiling the sultry hit song, Conjugal Visit, featuring Vybz Kartel; and her single, So Mi Like It, raking in a massive 12 million VEVO views.
“It has been an extraordinary year for me and I can’t say ‘thank you’ enough to all the fans, producers, media personalities, my team, and everyone who has made it a success. My EP, So Mi Like It, has also been doing extremely well, and I am also happy about that. Thank you to everyone, and I definitely look forward to helping to wave the Jamaican flag high overseas, and making our country and industry proud,” says Spice.
Later this week, Spice will perform at the event, ‘After Réveillon’ on January 9 at Club Section, Paris.
