Jamaica’s all-female band Adahzeh has been making deep inroads on the music scene.
The five-member band - comprising Karissa Palmer (keyboard), Chevanese Palmer (bass guitar), Tashana Barnett (drums), Tara-Dean Williamson (lead guitar), and the life of the party, if ever there was one, Kadian Hamilton (lead vocalist) made the rounds during the just concluded reggae month garnering even more fans as they showed their versatility and raw talent on stage.

The girls kicked off their first performance on Tuesday February 10 at the JaRIA Live Ladies Night at the Ranny Williams Entertainment Centre where they closed the show. It is testament to their popularity and strength as the crowd stayed to enjoy their offering.

Saturday February 21 saw them showing a new dimension as they presented with co-host Bambino at the Youth View Awards held at the National Indoor Sports Centre making the presentation for Favourite Dance Group.

The following day – Sunday, February 22 Adahzeh headed to the mountains at the annual Blue Mountain Music Festival at Holywell where they shared stage with Tarrus Riley, Mystic Revealers, Rootz Underground and Uprising roots among others.

“Since we started this journey it has been an exciting one for us. We can’t tell you what it means to see the crowd enjoying what we do on stage, especially at the Blue Mountain Music Festival, they enjoyed the performance so much they called us back on stage twice” said Chevanese.
The band made their impact on the scene last year with the release of their very popular single Caliente Girls, a song co produced by J Twist and Caniggia Palmer for D’ Empire Management.

Looking ahead the girls say their fans can expect more exciting offering from them as they take their career to the next level.
