Shane Brown Fires Off On VP Records & Etana On Instagram! Etana Claps Back!

Couch Mode
Etana has responded to Jukeboxx producer Shane Brown for his jab at VP records and Etana for not been recognized in recent press releases for his work on her A Better Tomorrow song. The song has been chosen as the Official anthem for the "Stop Ebola and Build For the Future" campaign.

The song has also been re-Released on March 3 With All Proceeds Going Towards Cause.

On Wednesday, Brown took to social media to air his grievances and share with the whole that he was disappointed that he was not contacted by neither VP nor Etana about the accomplishment.

Brown states:
Got a pleasant surprise when i bounced up on this post. Being that this song was produced by myself and my team it would have been courteous to have been notified by @etanastrongone or @vprecords atleast. When the efforts, talents and rights of producers, writers and players of instruments are recognized and respected; then we will have 'A Better Tomorrow'. Big up @kirkledove (drums) @webboweb (keys) @csharpemonty (guitar) #AeoinHoilett (bass) and the entire TUFF GONG engineering staff @bornrollinmusic @boxlunchproduction and @nikkifromyard @chevaughnmusic @sheritasings (background vocals) THANKS TO YOU ALL FOR YOUR CONTRIBUTION IT COULD NEVER BE POSSIBLE WITHOUT YOU ALL!
To that, Etana responded:
Smh @jukeboxxjamaica The politics in this business never seems to amaze me. Big ups to all the players of instruments and vocalists who worked hard to the music on this song, Even though you all laughed at me when I asked for the just the heartbeat (Kick-Drum) I still managed to come to the studio the following day delivered what you all thought was a joke in the beginning. I'm not too much for politics and label decisions. @vprecords Please send out a release giving proper respects to @jukeboxxjamaica for a job well done. Big up yourself Shane Brown.
The back and forth continued.

Brown:
@etanastrongone we all laughed with each other while making a GREAT record and supported each other 100% sharing ideas. @vprecords don't need to send out a release to give me respect as my work SPEAKS for itself, what they can do is put that energy into the few artistes they have left. This is not political @etanastrongone it's truths abs rights don't see what you are amazed about!
These days everything is been aired out on social media. Seems like no one believes that making a simple phone call to smooth things out.

Shane and Etana need to put this behind them and continue making good music!
