On May 4, 2015 the bus tour made its first stop at the Portsmouth Primary School in Portmore where she read to the students and offered words of encouragement. From Portmore she travelled to Mustard Seed in Kingston where she visited and read to more delighted children. Excited about the first leg of the tour Tasha T said "the students were great and we had lots of fun." After a successful first day with Ja'nice Wisdom, CEO of Read Across Jamaica Foundation, they sorted books and supplies for the next round of school visits.

Amharic Alphabets. Tasha T shared a song from her Real Talk Album called "Halemese Selassie". She said that "visiting this school was an uplifting experience because the program at the school is unique and that it endeavours to provide education to children based on a afrocentric identity and perspective ."
She would like to thank Denise "Isis" Miller for introducing her to the school back in February 2015. and she said "It was amazing to realize that the children remembered me and my song,"Educate Yourself" which is the theme song for Read Across Jamaica Foundation."
On that day Tasha T invited recording artists Asante Amen, and Vania Colours to take part in the tour and they were very inspiring to the children at Sankofa.
A huge proponent of education Tasha T includes informative themes within some of her musical selections in order to reinforce the importance of education. As a conscious reggae artist her willingness not only to entertain but also to educate her fans is a distinguishing factor in her career.
Following the school tour Tasha T spent time in the studio courtesy of Entertainment to Reggae Public Relations (Reggae PR). She recorded at the Anchor Studios in Kingston, with Fire House Band, and "Phatta" who is one of Jamaica's premier sound engineers.
She also had the honour of recording at One Pop Music Studio for, Sly Dunbar and Paul "Patchy" Wright. During her stay she also performed live on CVM TV and was interviewed and featured on Entertainment Prime TV.
