With his recent performance at the annual Mobay Crab Festival at Pier 1 and the release of his new single ‘Officer’, Chilando is turning heads. The ‘Life too Short’ artiste who performed with his band at the Crab Festival came under much scrutiny for choosing to use a band as oppose to tracks on his set. Regardless, he took the high road and finished his high energy set and was well received by his fans.

“One of my band player overheard persons asking why I insisted on using a band”, shared Chilando, “this made me realize that as young acts you have to stand firm in your beliefs and take pride in your craft”. Additionally, Chilando has been focusing on his new single ‘Officer’ on the ‘Jelly Water Riddim’ produced by DJ Frass for which the video will be shot in a few weeks by award winning director Xtreme Arts.

Chilando is set to perform at major shows in Montego Bay, Negril and Trelawny. Some of these shows include Hawaiian Dreams 5 at Tropical Beach in Montego Bay on June 19th; SanDolls River Party at Water Wheel in Martha Brae, Falmouth on June 14th; Truth or Dare Hustlers Paradise at Las Vegas, Negril on June 20th. He is also eager to premiere his video for ‘Officer’.
