Reggae revolutionary, Kabaka Pyramid is looking forward to a monumental new year building on the stellar, marquee past 2015 the artist has had.

The lyricist cemented himself as a major force in the music with standout performances at staple local festivals such as Rebel Salute and Reggae Sumfest. This consolidating his positon following an impressive Reggae Sting showing the previous year.

Internationally, Kabaka completed a number of successful tours with his band "The Bebble Rockers". Performing at the South by South West Music Festival in Austin, Texas was a ground-breaker for the artist as he represented reggae music on one of the largest industry platforms on the globe. Following SxSW, the "Young Lions" Tour took Kabaka Pyramid right across the United states, thrilling audiences on a 31 day, 24 show reggae experience alongside Iba Mahr. This in addition to a number of other major appearances in Florida, Oregon, Seattle and various provinces in Canada established a firm foundation on the North American continent.
The second half of the year saw Kabaka Pyramid and his Bebble Rockers performing to over 5,000 people for the first time in Trinidad and Tobago as well as an incredible energetic show for a full house in San Jose, Costa Rica. In Europe and UK the "Well Done" Tour took the music and the message across 11 countries in the region on 28 headlining dates ending in one of many unforgettable nights in London at the Electric, Brixton. 
2015 was not just about live performances as Kabaka dropped a series of hard-hitting singles throughout 2015 including Phenomenon (Digital-B), Politics (Grandtheft), As the Keys Play (Zj Chrome) and Too Long (Notis). 
Stand-out of all of these was the monster hit-single "Well Done". Produced by Damian Marley, this people's anthem is still a must have in any DJ playlist and is viewed by many as reggae song of the year charting #1 all over the globe. Check out the video below:-

2016 is an exciting time with a number of projects on the cards for Kabaka Pyramid. First of those is a mixtape/EP collaboration with Walshy Fire of Major Lazer to be released early first quarter. This endeavor is sure to please those a fan of Kabaka's mastery of lyricism.

Of course the long awaited debut Kabaka Pyramid album is on the way! Working alongside Damian Jr. Gong Marley; this year will see the release of a fresh full length project. A culmination of years of creativity and experiences this one is sure to make serious waves on the industry landscape.

Fans of Kabaka's live shows can look forward to his return to a number of territories including Europe, US and Costa Rica as well as a special treat for local fans.
