More Life is celebrating its sixth year and we are bringing you our biggest line up to date. The event will feature some of Jamaica’s best musical talent: Tarrus Riley, Agent Sasco and Spice on one of the most famous stages in the UK O2 Academy Brixton. Joining these artists are world renowned sound systems Mighty Crown and Metro Media!

You’ve heard about More Life 2015 and heard right! Over 4,000 people were in attendance; so don’t miss More Life 2016 the ultimate cultural experience. This year, “London’s Number One, Global party station” Flames Radio have pulled out all the stops to continue the event’s growing brand. Known for bringing artists such as Beenie Man, Mavado, I Octane to the UK masses, Flames has become an entertainment, household name with an unwavering reputation in the music industry.

Headlining act Tarrus Riley is one of the brightest stars in the reggae constellation and was born to legendary singer Jimmy Riley. He recently yielded soared high on international charts such as ‘Billboard’ and ‘Official’ with “Powerful" Ft Elle Goulding (Produced by Major Lazer). The track also enjoyed heavy rotation on BBC radio 1.

Tarrus has long been touching people's hearts with his unique flair, talent and ability to make meaningful music including ‘She’s royal’ - which has amassed over 15 million views on Youtube to date. He has taken fans on an incredible journey, working with likes of the legendary Producer and Saxophonist Dean Fraser and Mr Juke Boxx himself - Shane Brown.

Tarrus Riley is multi award-winning and has been nominated for Soul Train and MOBO gongs Previous hit album “Contagious has received glowing reviews from the BBC music reviews and UK Tabloid paper Metro.

Dancehall “Stage Show Boss” Spice is the only female artist who will be gracing the More 2016 stage. This Billboard chart topping artist is internationally renowned for her razor sharp lyricism, consistent reinvention of her style and trendsetting disposition. Spice has performed to some of the biggest, toughest crowds in the world such as Sting and Reggae Sumfest.

She broke into the scene with her hit "Fight Over Man" (2006) Her recent hit ‘So Mi Like it’ has garnered over 36 million views  2009’s ‘Ramping shop’ – a steamy collaboration with the controversial yet influential Vybz Kartel gained Spice her first Billboard chart position. Spice constantly represents for the ladies, working with many big names in the music industry from Missy Elliott to Busta Rhymes. Spice has a collective social media following of over 300,000 fans! At the moment, she’s been promoting her new song ‘Needle which samples the Great Shabba Ranks’ 1987 standard of the same title.

Spice will be bringing her guaranteed, energy performance and with her who knows what will happen or who will get a whine!

The third confirmed artist is Assassin aka Agent Sasco. He featured on Kanye West and Kendrick Lamar’s award-winning albums. Recent club hit “Good times” produced by Jamie xx and Dre Skull which brought him to the UK for Red Bull’s carnival mansion party to shoot the official video featured in the Evening Standard magazine. Agent Sasco made the DJs pay attention with his bars on the Diwali Riddim track entitled ‘Ruffest and Tuffest’ (2002). Since then, his career has gone from strength to strength with several hits such as “Anywhere We Go” and “Idiot Thing That”. Being a Dancehall artist, Sasco set the bar very high from very early in his career by not being controversial or too slack, but to letting his natural affinity for words and real passion for music speak for itself.

Agent Sasco has a sturdy yet ever growing fan base while recently joining forces with talented Kardinal Offishall & Bunji Garli. Staying true to Assassin's passion for consciousness in music, he is due to drop his third Album ‘Theory of Reggaetivity’ which will display his growth and undiluted reggae vibe which can be heard in some of his recent material such as “Country bus” yet bringing the old school vibe of “Sekkle An Cease” and “Mix up”.

After receiving rave reviews from the public and press after last year’s More Life, Japan’s Mighty Crown are back by popular demand this year Also known as the ‘Far East Rulaz’, they have been playing music and winning sound clashes for over 20 years.

Hailing from Kingston, Jamaica, current UK Cup clash winners Metro Media will be the second Sound system to round up this epic all nighter.
